"Instant Job Notification" is a service that instantly notifies you via e-mail when jobs are posted
in our database and gives you a direct link to that newly posted position.

All e-mail notifications are archived for your future use and are available 24x7 through an
easy-to-use web interface.

When you subscribe to the Instant Job Notification service, you are required to select at least
one category.  Each category has a number of sub-categories ... for example, the "Reporters"
category has over 30 sub-categories.

As jobs are posted to the Job Center database, employers are required to select a category that
matches the type of job they are submitting.  Once the job is posted, our system sends an e-mail
to all the subscribers of the Instant Job Notification service who match that category.

For example: An employer posts a job with a title of "General Assignment Reporter", and
selects a sub-category of "News - Talent - General Assignment Reporter".  Since this sub-category
is one of the 30 that belong to the "Reporter" category, you would be instantly notified.

Your e-mail notification will look like this...

Lori Boland, KTVJ of San Diego, CA just posted a job in our Television Database. The job is titled: General Assignment Reporter, and was posted in the "News - Talent - General Assignment Reporter" category. Once you receive your email, all you have to do is copy-and-paste the hyperlink from the email
into your web browser.  Some e-mail programs automatically recognize hyperlinks, which allows
you to click directly on the hyperlink to view the job listing.

All e-mail notifications are archived for your future use and are available 24x7 through an
easy-to-use web interface.

Additionally, you can establish a "Market Range" to further narrow down the number of e-mail notifications you receive each day.

For some positions, timing is everything.  Getting your tape or résumé noticed first may be the only
